The Newark Planning Commission voted unanimously Aug. 12 to approve a two-year extension of the vesting tentative map for the Cedar Boulevard townhomes project at 38600 Cedar Boulevard.
The extension applies to vesting tentative map Tract 8665, which would create one common lot and 76 condominium units. Joseph Blapat, associate planner with the Community Development Department, told commissioners the project was approved by the City Council on Sept. 14, 2023, and the entitlements would otherwise expire on Sept. 14, 2025.
