The court and staff discussed that LGA’s role is to ensure compliance with existing regulations and that the county will continue to enforce state and county standards at final plat stage.
A motion to approve the preliminary plat carried. Planning staff said they will continue to monitor subsequent phases and final plats and that county development regulations may be updated in the future to address recurring design features such as wet-bottom ponds that developers commonly request.
