Rome Board of Investment and Contract approves budget transfer and a series of contracts and amendments

The City of Rome Board of Investment and Contract on July 24, 2025, approved a 2025 budgetary transfer and a series of contracts, change orders and contract amendments, authorizing the mayor to enter into agreements with several vendors and approving contract amendments related to the Railroad Street interceptor upgrades project.

The board voted to dispense with reading the minutes and approved them by voice vote. The board then approved Resolution No. 143, authorizing a 2025 budgetary transfer; Resolution No. 144, authorizing the mayor to enter into an agreement with Rome Environmental Solutions and Testing LLC for an amount not to exceed $25,000; and Resolutions Nos. 145–149, authorizing mayoral agreements with individual contractors — Richard Bohning ($1,175), Kevin Dundon ($500), Gary Johnson ($500), Isaac French ($500) and Ryan Quinn ($500). All motions were moved and seconded on the record and carried by voice vote.
