Villa Park Library announces fall programs, new streaming service

The library will host three back-to-school programs in September: a photo-frame craft for students on Sept. 10 at 3 p.m., backpack charm making on Sept. 20 at 2 p.m., and a teen pencil-pouch design session on Sept. 25 at 3 p.m. Library staff also plan events for Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept. 15–Oct. 15), including a papel picado and Lotería program on Sept. 17 at 3 p.m.
The library has added a streaming video service called Kanopy Plus that patrons can install on smart TVs or Roku devices; access requires an OC Public Library card.
Ending: The library representative said staff will be available at programs to answer questions about other library resources, including online homework help, and encouraged participation by families and teens.
