The board voted to adopt an "employment of relatives and relationships workplace" policy and a "board employment decisions" policy after brief presentation and no public comment. The employment-of-relatives policy will not affect current employees before June 30, 2026, but the district will stop hiring or transferring employees into positions that would violate the new rule.
