The Jefferson County Board voted to approve Ordinance 2025-9, which amends the county’s official zoning map to adopt a set of petitions previously reviewed at public hearings on July 17 and Aug. 21, 2025. The Planning and Zoning Committee reported the petitions met criteria in Wisconsin statutes and county zoning rules and recommended approval.
Supervisor Jackel moved the ordinance and Supervisor Jayco seconded. Supervisor Kennard announced a need to abstain for a potential conflict of interest; no other objections were recorded and the presiding officer declared the ordinance passed.
Ending: The ordinance will be recorded in Planning and Development staff files; individual petition files and staff reports are available in the Planning and Development office.
