Council approves Army Corps design agreement for White Rock Lake dredging; typo in resolution to be corrected

Why it matters White Rock Lake draws more than 1 million visitors annually and has not been dredged in decades, staff said. City and park leaders and some councilmembers framed the decision as a multiyear, multi‑partner investment in recreation, water quality and habitat that will require federal, local and voter‑approved funding.
