Staff recommended a site visit to reconcile the city’s overlay maps with current field conditions; commissioners agreed and proposed Saturday, Aug. 16 at 9:00 a.m. as a likely time for the walk (staff to confirm by email).
Staff also noted the presence of buried utilities in parts of the parcel—references during the discussion included Algonquin and a Frontier buried line in the southern portion—and said the site is difficult to traverse in places. Commissioners asked staff to coordinate a date, provide an access plan for commissioners and to ask the applicant’s engineer to flag key areas before the walk.
The commission recorded a motion to accept the application for review and set the site walk; all commissioners present voted in favor.
