District administrators told the board Aug. 11 that the school system is "completely filled" for professional positions starting the 2025–26 school year, while a number of classified openings remain and were included in a personnel slate for board action.
"We've done a very good job in filling our positions. For professional positions that would be starting this school year, we are completely filled," Dr. Bosman said during the personnel report. The administration said one short-term opening remains for early fall and that classified applications continue to arrive and be processed.
The personnel report presented a long list of employment items that the administration will ask the board to approve at the upcoming voting meeting. Items reported included the creation of three personal care assistant positions (6.5 hours per day) at Cornwall Elementary; multiple resignations and retirements; changes in employment status and internal reassignments; and a slate of new hires for the 2025–26 school year pending completion of preemployment requirements.
Administrators named several hires listed in the packet by position and salary, including classroom instructors, special-education staff and instructional assistants. The administration also requested authorization to continue hiring through August and to ratify new hires at the September board meeting if needed.
Officials also outlined recruitment events: a classified‑employee job fair scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2025, at the middle school (6 p.m.) with on‑the‑spot interviews and an expanded Lebanon County future‑educator open house planned for March 26, 2026, to attract teacher candidates and alternative-path applicants.
The administration asked the board to ratify two short‑term hires that had already worked during the extended‑year program and confirmed standard processes for substitute and long‑term substitute assignments. A full personnel agenda with names, positions, hourly wages and salaries was included in the board packet and will be the subject of motions at the district's next voting meeting.
