Andrew Toobin of 1733 Ingle Street, Grand Isle, Nebraska, addressed the council on behalf of the applicant. "Upon approval of the final plat, we should start moving dirt here for the next couple weeks, with, like, scheduled for 2026 for the first couple of buildings to open up," Toobin said.
The council noted that the planning commission recommended approval. Following the public hearing the council closed the hearing and later adopted resolution number R25-99 approving the final plat and development agreement.
No members of the public spoke against the proposal during the hearing, and the record at the meeting did not provide additional project financing or phasing details beyond Toobin's timeline.
