The payment was discussed as approved without a purchase order due to an administrative oversight; staff said the matter came from the March 25 meeting approval.
Commissioners discussed a budgeted contribution to paving around St. Clair County High School. The engineer said the county agreed to pay half of the project. Staff said an earlier estimate was under $51,000 but current quantities could raise the total to $53,000–$54,000; commissioners agreed to pay roughly half of the job. The commission approved the reimbursement motion.
The county authorized solicitation of quotes to replace a leaking drain pipe on Shore Drive in the Pinedale area; a local association will pay for materials and the county will seek contractor bids to perform excavation and replacement.
The commission approved appointing Justin Collie to the vacant crew leader position, replacing Joe Regorn.
The commission also approved a $31,359 payment to Trinity Cadets LLC for a completed public-works remodel of the revenue office, recorded as complete in the meeting.
