East Aurora High School has requested one bilingual overload and eight career and technical education (CTE) overloads, the Aurora East USD 131 Finance and Personnel Committee was told Sept. 2.
Dr. David Ballard presented the overload request to the committee as part of the packet of personnel and budget-related items. Ballard summarized the requests: one bilingual overload and eight CTE overloads. Committee members asked no substantive questions and the request was presented for the committee's review.
The committee did not vote on the overload requests at the Sept. 2 meeting. The requests were presented as items for the board's personnel and budget consideration; any approval would occur through the district's regular personnel and board approval processes.
