She further said Carbon County’s domestic relations office has "established child support actions for over 2,000 custodial parents and collected over $36,000,000 for families" in the past five years and that her office’s current-collection rate is about 83 percent — above the national average cited in the proclamation.
The commission and attendees thanked staff and praised a recent community outreach event the office organized that offered a free swim day for children 18 and under.
