At the start of its Aug. 19 meeting the City of Salinas Housing and Land Use Committee voted to table approval of the March 18 meeting minutes and asked staff to correct minutes for the March 18, June 10 and Aug. 19 meetings and return the corrected versions at the committee’s next meeting.
A committee member told staff that clicking agenda item ID 20Five-two25 produced March minutes even when members expected the June meeting minutes; the member said the March minutes had already been approved at the June meeting and that the documents linked for committee approval were incorrect. The member formally moved to table the minutes and asked staff to revise minutes for the calendar year to ensure accuracy.
The clerk called the roll for the tabling motion; Councilmember Salazar, Councilmember Sandoval and Chair Barajas were recorded as voting yes and the chair declared the motion carried. No public commenters spoke on the consent-item matter during the meeting.
