The facilities executive director described the estimated additional repairs at approximately $365,000, which exceeded the 10% threshold that triggers a change-order process.

"The scope of work includes the removal of the existing plaster, waterproofing around the windows, repair of plywood panels that have dry rot, and then re-plastering of the entire eastern elevation," the facilities director said. The board voted to approve the emergency declaration 7-0.
