Kent County undersheriff outlines dispatch, school radio and real-time intelligence upgrades; cites low use-of-force rate
Summary
Undersheriff Brian Meir told the Kent County Board of Commissioners the sheriff's office is expanding a school radio initiative, operating a countywide dispatch center and rolling out a real-time information center. He said use-of-force incidents are rare and that the office is pursuing interoperability and cybersecurity upgrades.
