Committee renews sister city relationship with Zadar, Croatia

Federation representatives Tom Kuzmanovich and Thomas Krenz described plans to pursue a water‑studies partnership between the University of Zadar and a Milwaukee water institute; they said a new mayor and international liaison in Zadar had improved coordination and that they expected to visit Croatia soon.
The Sister Cities Committee reviewed the renewal and recommended approval on July 10; Alderman Chambers moved adoption at the Community Economic Development Committee. The chair announced no objections and ordered the renewal forward.
