The committee approved a resolution allocating HOME‑ARP funds to support an affordable housing project at 3031/3331 N. King Drive, a 67‑unit development that includes 22 permanent supportive housing units and on‑site full‑time supportive services.
Developer Anthony Kaysy (Kaysy Development Group) told the committee the project was awarded under an earlier RFP, received tax credits in May 2024, and expects to close financing in approximately five to six weeks. Construction was estimated at about 12 months after mobilization. Kaysy said care management services will be provided by Care Management Plus and that the supportive units align with HOME‑ARP eligible uses (assisting people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness).
City staff said the project’s supportive services and dedicated units match HUD HOME‑ARP program goals and will help reduce pressure on coordinated entry and other homeless services. Alderman Jackson moved adoption; the chair announced no objections and ordered the resolution adopted.
