Organizers stated much of the programming is free to the public and that sponsorships do not fully cover costs.
Committee members praised the event’s economic development and cultural purposes and agreed to add aldermanic co‑sponsors at the meeting. Alderman Zamaripa moved adoption; the chair announced there were no objections and ordered the appropriation.
