Votes at a glance: Mount Lebanon board approves policies, finance and curriculum items; personnel report approved

The Mount Lebanon Board of School Directors approved multiple consent and action items during the Oct. 20 meeting. Board members recorded aye votes on the following items by roll call.
Policies: The board adopted Policy 113.4 (confidentiality of special education and student information) and Policy 115 (career and technical education). These policy adoptions were approved by roll call with all members present voting yes.
Finance: The board approved the treasurer's report, the monthly list of bills, a list of tax refunds for September, year-end and October budgetary transfers, a list of unusable equipment, and a field naming rights agreement. Board members noted the naming rights item honored longtime coach Walker for his service; the finance agenda carried on roll call.
Human resources: The board approved the updated personnel report current as of Oct. 20.
Curriculum and instruction: The board approved an MOU with the Allegheny Intermediate Unit (AIU) and Head Start, approval of the student assistance team for the school year, an agreement for multilingual psychoeducational evaluations, a field trip request for the girls' varsity wrestling team, crowdfunding approval requests for Jefferson, Howe and Markham elementary schools, and two confidential settlement agreements. All passed by voice/roll call with members voting yes.
Votes on the above items were unanimous among members present; the board will record these approvals in the minutes and proceed with implementation steps as appropriate for each item.
