Hammond board approves minutes, multiple permits and closures; denies neighborhood Halloween block closure

The Hammond City Board of Public Works and Safety approved a slate of administrative actions including the prior meeting minutes, temporary lane and street closures for construction and demolition, right‑of‑way permits, and extensions for a gas‑station exemption. The board also denied a neighborhood request to close a Tapper block for Halloween activities.
