Planning Commission finds active development agreements in compliance; forwards report to City Council

The Ripon Planning Commission reviewed the city's annual report on active development agreements and found that the parties to each active agreement have complied in good faith with applicable terms and conditions. Staff reported the city has a historical total of 57 development agreements, six of which remain active.
Staff identified the six active agreements as four residential agreements (including Silverstone Subdivision and The Vineyards), Meadowood Subdivision (88 homes off Fulton Avenue) as in progress, Pereira Subdivision along North Ripon Road as pending construction, Ripon Gardens 2 (mixed-use) with one remaining commercial parcel, and an institutional agreement for Calvary Reformed Church extended to 2034.
"We have gone through all the agreements, and the developers have acted in good faith with all the conditions they are in," staff said. Commissioners moved that the planning commission find the parties in compliance and direct staff to transmit a written report to City Council. The commission approved the motion by a 5-0 vote.
The written report will be transmitted to the City Council as part of the city's annual requirements under government code and local municipal code.
