Harrison Educational Foundation presents $5,615 in grants to district programs

She described both projects as promoting collaboration, communication and character traits aligned with the International Baccalaureate learner profile.
Panella told the board the foundation is "proud to offer our continued support for our schools" and thanked district leadership and the board. Board members received the presentation and posed no objections during the public comment period.
The grants were described as supporting student skills such as patience, focus, safety and confidence; Panella said the foundation approved the combined award of $5,615 for the two projects.
No formal board action to accept the donation appears in the meeting transcript; the presentation occurred during the public comment portion of the meeting and was acknowledged by the superintendent and board.
