The council awarded a contract for replacement of the roof on the city’s three‑bay airport hangar to Mountain Roof Repair LLC for an amount not to exceed $117,585, approved a construction contract to expand long‑term airport parking to Copper State Paving and Construction LLC for $243,748.05, and authorized a contract with White Mountain Economic Development for pre‑incubation business services not to exceed $54,615. Each approval was made by motion and carried by the council.
Those votes came after the council approved a consent calendar that included multiple proclamations (including Constitution Week and Fire Prevention Week), lease transfers and terminations related to noncommercial hangar development, purchase approvals, surplus declarations, addenda to existing service contracts and minutes from the Sept. 2 meeting.
