Clerk’s office distributes election guide; commissioners ask for levy totals for Boise and Meridian questions

Commissioners asked staff to confirm totals, specifically asking whether the City of Boise measure is a one-time $10,000,000 question and whether the City of Meridian levy is an ongoing $5,000,000-per-year levy. County staff said the information is available on the Ada County Elections website and agreed to provide more detailed totals to the commissioners.
The clerk said the office’s public-information officer prepared the guide and that voters can download it from the elections website. Commissioners asked staff to bring back clear totals for the levies so they could better answer constituent questions; staff acknowledged the request.
