The Haverford Township School District board approved consent items b through d by voice vote during the Sept. 4 work session. The motion to “approve items b through d as listed on the agenda” was made and seconded (mover recorded as Spondrows; second as Vitale) and the chair called for the ayes; the motion passed.
Before public comment, the board chair clarified that one consent item (agenda item 3c) included a motion to approve the bill list. The chair said the bill list amount included $1,920,264.49 in the motion text but noted a clerical error in the summary chart posted with the agenda. The chair said three account registers that list expenditures totaling $1,919,335.49 were posted publicly the night before and that the summary chart in the agenda was corrected that morning so the summary chart now matches the posted registers. The chair stated there had been no change to the expenditure amounts or expenditure items and apologized for the clerical error and any confusion.
The motion to approve the consent items was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote with no recorded roll‑call tally presented in the transcript.
