The Ada County Board of Commissioners on Aug. 19 adopted five resolutions, reappointed two members to the Expo Idaho advisory board and approved a slate of routine administrative items while tabling several procurement awards for further review.
The board voted unanimously to reappoint Daniel Murphy, a fair board member, and Steve Wilder to the Expo Idaho advisory board; both terms were listed to expire Sept. 30, 2028. A motion to reappoint the two was moved and seconded and the board voted in favor.
In a public hearing the board adopted Resolution No. 3109, authorizing repayment of a Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) grant tied to Lady Bird Park. County presenters said the original federal grant funded improvements to Lady Bird Park decades earlier and that funds are being returned now because the county is using an alternate park area at Expo Idaho for ongoing recreation development. The board approved the resolution by voice vote.
