Nash County Board of Education moves into closed session to consider personnel appointment and litigation

The Nash County Board of Education voted to enter a closed session during a work session to consider the initial appointment of an employee, confidential personnel records and a pending legal matter, board members said.

Board members first adopted the meeting agenda. Board member Linwood Weeks moved to adopt the agenda; Jamal Whitfield seconded. The presiding officer put the question and members voted in favor, and the motion carried.
