Parent praises East Hickman schools for inclusive support as son graduates

"They didn't focus on what he couldn't do, but what he could," Mahoney said, crediting teachers and support staff with helping Reagan succeed socially and academically. She described the graduation in May as the result of a "village" of staff, classmates and family working together.
The board listened during the public-comment portion of the meeting and the speakers concluded with expressions of gratitude for district leadership, teachers and staff.
