Owner Freddie Ellis told the council he plans to subdivide the parcel and build two single-family homes for sale. Ellis said financing is in place and that he intends to begin construction “within the next one or two months.” He also said he has arranged for more frequent lawn maintenance while the subdivision process proceeds.
Neighbors said they were not fully informed and raised objections during public comment. Anne Kotorous, who lives within 300 feet of the site, provided photographs and asked the council not to split the lot, saying the neighborhood features larger lots, mature trees…
