Grimes Jr., requested county assistance to extend public water and sewer to properties on University Avenue that currently rely on private wells and septic systems; he told commissioners some neighboring parcels are already connected and said his properties face aging systems and potential failures. Commissioners acknowledged the concern and asked staff to note the request.

What’s next The board added a closed session for attorney‑client and personnel matters and adjourned after returning to open session with no reportable actions. Several nomination matters will return for formal appointment at the next meeting where applications have been completed.
