Council confirms board appointments and approves city secretary/manager contract adjustments

Contract adjustments and severance agreements: City Manager and City Secretary contract modifications were presented to make the documents compliant with recently adopted state law changes. City staff said the changes do not extend or change term lengths but align contract language with state requirements. Council approved the city secretary’s contract and severance agreement and subsequently approved the city manager’s contract and severance agreement. All votes were unanimous.
Outcome: Motions to confirm appointments and to approve the contract adjustments were moved and seconded by councilmembers and passed without opposition.
