Live Oak council adopts EMS amendment, approves hazard plan and accepts quarterly investment report

The Live Oak City Council on Aug. 12 approved three items affecting emergency medical services, disaster planning and the city’s investment portfolio.

Council voted to authorize an amendment to the interlocal emergency medical services agreement with the city of Schertz, adopted the Bexar County multi-jurisdictional hazard mitigation plan and accepted the city’s third-quarter investment report for the period ending June 30, 2025. The quarterly investment report was presented by a city staff member identified in the record as Mr. Krawalik. He told the council the city’s total portfolio as of June 30 was roughly $39.3 million, with about $34.3 million held in TexPool.
