City council confirms Aileen Eusebio as youth member of Parks Commission

The North Bend City Council on Sept. 2 unanimously confirmed the appointment of Aileen Eusebio to youth member position No. 5 on the Parks Commission, a term that expires Aug. 31, 2026.
Council member Alan Gotthalf nominated Eusebio and the nomination was seconded by Bridal Elwood. Eusebio, a sophomore at Mount Si High School, told the council she is excited to serve and wants to help “make North Bend a more welcoming place” and learn about recreation and outdoor programs.
Council members welcomed her appointment. Christina Rustic, Heather Colon and others praised Eusebio’s volunteerism and encouraged her to speak up and bring ideas to the commission.
The motion to confirm the appointment passed by voice vote; the clerk recorded the vote as unanimous.
