The Moorhead City Council approved the amended consent agenda, a proclamation recognizing a Welcoming/Community Week and the meeting minutes for Aug. 25 during routine session items.

Mayor Pro Tem Chuck Hendrickson led roll call at the start of the meeting. Councilmembers moved and seconded approval of the amended consent agenda; the council voted "aye" with no recorded opposition. Councilmember Sebastian McDougall read a proclamation recognizing a community Welcoming Week; the council then approved the consent agenda and later approved the minutes for the Aug. 25 meeting by motion, second and unanimous voice vote.

The swearing-in and badge pinning for five new police officers took place as a recognition item and was ceremonial; no policy action resulted from that presentation during this meeting.
