Hamilton City School District officials on Tuesday summarized the district's 2024–25 Ohio school report card, saying students showed stronger-than-expected growth overall but the district's overall star rating fell after a new state metric was added.
Julie Arnold, executive director of PreK–12, told the school board the district's report-card score is 2.531 under the state's current scale and that the numeric range for the star tier cited ran from 2.125 to 2.624. She said achievement and progress remain the heaviest-weighted measures while the newly added College-Career-Workforce-Military Readiness (CCWMR) metric reduced the district's composite rating compared with prior years.
