The Fair Oaks Ranch City Council approved the consent agenda at its Sept. 4 meeting. The consent package contained six items; the council voted to approve the entire packet on a single voice vote.
Items included: - Approval of the Aug. 21, 2025 regular meeting minutes. - Second reading of an ordinance amending the comprehensive plan to change the land-use classification from rural residential to neighborhood residential for approximately 344.6 acres located north of Rolling Acres Trail and Ammon Road. - Second reading of an ordinance designating the zoning district for the same approximately 344.6-acre tract as Neighborhood Residential. - Second reading of an ordinance extending the city limits by annexing approximately a 2.923-acre tract located at 329 Ammon Road, Kendall County. - Approval of a resolution amending Resolution No. 2023-46 to affirm the status of donations received for the Detailed Corn Sidewalk Project and to direct a donation from SA Frontgate LLC and its affiliates to be deposited into the Tree Mitigation Fund for tree mitigation purposes. - Approval of Council Member Stroup's absence from the July 17 regular city council meeting.
The consent motion was made and seconded and passed on a voice vote with no recorded roll-call tally.
Actions: Council approved all six consent items as listed above.
