Board shown new KPI dashboard, CareerCraft tool to track CCMR and other measures

Terry Moore, director of the district’s performance reporting, presented the first-quarter executive dashboard to the board on Oct. 6 and demonstrated chart views, evidence links and a new CCMR tracking feed.
Moore showed trustees how the dashboard groups goals and objectives with linked evidence and how users can view charts only or open details for each measure. She said the dashboard is a live document updated by administrators and that the board will receive a quarterly snapshot; the next update will appear in January and will include October–December data.
On CCMR, Moore asked Dr. Kimberly Martin to confirm details and displayed the CareerCraft feed the district adopted after visiting United ISD. Moore said the dashboard shows the current senior class at 46 percent who have already earned a CCMR credit; the report also breaks down TSIA, military enlistment and IBC certification indicators. Moore said the CareerCraft tool lets counselors and administrators see earned CCMR credit in near real time.
Moore opened dashboard charts showing dual-credit enrollment, saying Early College High School currently had 501 students enrolled in a first-semester dual-credit course; the district will report the number who earn credit in December. Other charts on the dashboard include STAR/EOC measures, attendance, promotion and graduation rates. Moore also displayed student opportunity measures and participation counts for extracurriculars: he cited 438 students participating in football and a 15-student water-polo roster, noting those figures are tracked as part of student-opportunity objectives.
Moore emphasized that some internal measures — for example, discipline-coding accuracy — are corrected before state submission and are available on the dashboard for administrative monitoring. He summarized staff-retention metrics and certification-pass measures for teachers and said many charts will accumulate data across the school year. Trustees asked no substantive follow-up questions about the dashboard; Moore said quarterly updates will continue.
