Bidders were scheduled to tour the building Sept. 26 and bids are due Oct. 7 at 1 p.m.; the administration plans to review bids and alternates and to recommend a contractor at the Oct. 14 discussion meeting, Anderson said.
District facility work: Doctor Walsh reported that HVAC control work in middle school classrooms is complete and that a dust collector has been set in place. Work on windows and doors at the middle school will begin shortly, Walsh said.
Operations highlights: Mrs. Purcell reported new turf inserts on the high school baseball field, new batter’s boxes and pitching mounds, installation of pickleball nets on the tennis courts and completion of a new diesel tank for transportation. Purcell also said food services are evaluating a new personal pan pizza program at the high school.
