Board to extend existing Tyson Foods contract for school nutrition items

Board members asked whether other bidders had been involved; Perryman said the contract followed a formal bid process two years earlier and that the renewal represents year three of the bid term (potentially year three of a three‑ or five‑year bid). The board placed the contract extension on consent.
