- Resolution 3397: Budget amendment and procurement to replace an inoperable concrete grinder for the Street Division (vendor Sherwin Industries). (Passed by voice vote.)
- Resolution 3398: Budget amendment and contract for treatment/gating services (pest treatment) with Terminix, funded from facilities repair and maintenance. (Passed by voice vote.)
- Resolution 3399: Budget amendment of $90,228 and procurement of five ApexTextNEXT portable radios with accessories from Motorola Solutions, Inc., totaling $64,028.07. (Passed by voice vote.)
- Procurement: The commission approved up to $706,026 to Rep Services, Inc. to construct an amphitheater pavilion shelter at Fort Mellon Park; the project had previously been allocated $2,000,000 in CRE funds for plans and construction. Commissioners asked for cost‑effectiveness details; staff and the procurement representative said the amount covered structure, concrete work, sidewalks, electrical and sound equipment.
In addition to the votes above, the commission directed staff to revise Schedule H (parking requirements) to implement a 5,000‑square‑foot exemption for certain indoor/outdoor seating and event spaces consistent with state statutes, and asked staff and the city attorney to prepare a program and fee schedule for parking‑related funds so collected funds may be spent within an identified timeframe.
