Committee defers Blackhall land-exchange resolution for 60 days while administration and counsel review options

Deputy County Attorney Welch and County Attorney Lankes advised that unwinding the exchange is not a unilateral action and would require multi-party cooperation; counsel said they were reviewing legal avenues to reverse all or part of the transaction.
Following that update, Commissioner Terry moved to defer the resolution for 60 days to allow the administration and legal staff to prepare an update and next steps; the committee voted to defer the item.
