The Woodstock mayor and council voted 6-0 to enter executive session to discuss litigation, real estate and/or personnel matters and said they did not anticipate taking action when they returned.
At the close of the public work session the mayor asked for a motion to retreat into executive session "to discuss litigation, real estate, and or personnel." Councilmember Aik moved and Councilmember Potts seconded the motion. The mayor called the vote and announced the motion carried 6 to 0. City staff said no formal action was expected on the council's return from executive session.
This vote was procedural to allow the council to discuss matters permitted under executive-session rules; the city indicated it would not be a called or voting meeting and no additional public action was scheduled after the session.
