On an item from the Utilities and Public Works Committee, the board approved a proposal from We Energies to replace street lighting as part of the Menomonee Avenue reconstruction project from Town Hall Road to Appleton Avenue. The work will replace wooden poles and cobra‑head fixtures with fiberglass poles and shoebox LED fixtures and add lights at three crosswalks; trustees noted the costs were already considered in the project budget.
