Board approves consent calendar, confirms delinquent solid-waste accounts and authorizes study of El Macero Country Club plan

The Yolo County Board of Supervisors voted July 22 to approve the consent calendar, to confirm a report of delinquent residential solid-waste accounts with three parcels removed, and to authorize further study of a general-plan amendment and rezone request submitted by El Macero Country Club that would allow creation of three residential lots.

The consent calendar (items 6–38) was moved by Supervisor Bill Frerichs and seconded by Supervisor Villegas and carried. Supervisor Angel Barajas recused himself from item 32 because of a potential contract/MOU involving Rise, Inc.; Barajas told the board he had discussed the matter with county counsel.

The board heard a staff presentation and public comment on item 41, the annual public hearing to confirm the county's list of delinquent residential solid-waste accounts and to authorize placement of unpaid balances on property tax rolls.
