The Larimer County Board of County Commissioners approved a consent agenda July 22 that included seven agreements, two appointments, treasurer reports and a landfill compliance certification.
Key items approved on the consent agenda:
- A professional services agreement with Synergy Disaster Recovery LLC to provide disaster mitigation, management and recovery professional services on an as‑needed basis.
- An intergovernmental agreement with the City of Loveland concerning acquisition and conservation of the Arrowhead Red Tail property near Berthoud; the dollar amount noted in the meeting was approximately $1,800,000.
- Conveyance of permanent drainage easements for Mountain Range Shadow Subdivision stormwater conveyance facilities (two separate easement conveyances).
- A State of Colorado intergovernmental agreement between the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing and Larimer County Human Services to create performance‑based benchmarks and deliverables for county human services administration; meeting discussion cited a total amount of approximately $465,000.
- A State of Colorado intergovernmental agreement between the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing and Larimer County Office on Aging (approximately $136,000) to expand capacity to meet minimum data set reporting.
- A Collaborative Management Program Memorandum of Understanding for the Larimer County interagency oversight group, with a state allocation noted at approximately $243,000 and no county match required.
Also approved were appointments to the Parks Advisory Board (Andy Taysla, term to 06/30/2028) and the Board of Adjustment (Brandon Hughes, term to 06/30/2028); a special event liquor license for Fort Collins Nursery (Rock Garden Concert); the treasurer’s six‑month report (01/01/2025–06/30/2025); the second‑quarter 2025 public trustee report; and an annual landfill air‑emissions permit compliance certification (county reported the landfill is currently in compliance with both operating permits).
Commissioner John Kefalas moved to approve the consent agenda; the motion passed 3‑0.
Clarifying details: commissioners noted that some state allocations for human services and the Office on Aging have been reduced and may constrain program work; one commissioner observed one of the state allocations is “almost half” of prior amounts.
