"I just wanted to make sure that everyone had gotten the supplemental memo regarding the class comp study that the committee submitted," the commenter said. Committee members said some employees and commissioners needed more time to digest the report and to resolve verbal clarifications noted by the consultant.

A county representative said the committee planned to meet the next day and that the committee's goal remained to ask for implementation sometime in October, "based on administration's capacity," to allow fiscal-year-end work to be completed.
