The rezone request, presented by developer Russell Atkins of Christianson Development Partners, would adjust some lots in Aspen Ridge so that several areas currently planned or zoned for twin homes could instead be platted as single-family lots under R-2 zoning. Atkins told the commission a client has contracts for 54 lots in the subdivision and plans to deliver multiple price points, including townhomes near $300,000 and single-family homes in the $400,000 to $700,000 range. "They love Brandon. They love the school district," Atkins said.
