The Grain Valley R‑V School District on Tuesday reported increased attendance and course enrollment for its 2025 summer school program, and administrators recommended continuing curriculum updates and staffing changes that officials say improved student and teacher experience.
The summer program coordinator told the board that enrollment rose by about 143 students overall, including a gain of roughly 50 students attending in person, and that both the district’s elementary and high‑school summer programs reached record highs. "It was a pretty significant jump for this year," the coordinator said of the enrollment increases.
