Clear Creek Amana board approves consultants, handbooks, agreements and selects legislative priorities

The Clear Creek Amana Community School District Board of Education approved multiple contracts, consultant agreements and student handbooks and adopted legislative priorities during its meeting. The board also appointed Laurie Robertson as board secretary‑treasurer and took first reading on a new school safety assessment team policy.

The board approved a mix of one‑year consultant agreements with Grant Wood Area Education Agency (Grant Wood AEA) — including English‑language‑learner and early‑learning consultants and school improvement consultants — and approved a pilot mental‑health referral service (Care Solace) in partnership with Grant Wood AEA. The board accepted a $14,189.66 donation from the CCA Booster Club for dumbbell equipment and approved multiple handbooks for 2025–26 (elementary, middle, high school, preschool, athlete parent, coach/sponsor).
